Veteran theatre artist and educator Elizabeth Bruce has developed a unique residency with her Theatrical Journeys Project, which lays down a foundation of core Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) concepts using a tactile, experiential, dramatic play approach. This scientific inquiry approach builds STEM readiness in children while nurturing their intellectual, artistic, and creative abilities. Through simple, make-believe journeys, they introduce young children to the fundamentals of scientific thought: observation of empirical evidence, reasoning, cause and effect, experimentation, and problem solving.
